A Legacy of Giving: Anukampa Project by Shree Mumbai Jain Yuvak Sangh
Every year, in the Paryushan Shree Mumbai Jain Yuvak Sangh organizes the Anukampa Project to support a different organization. During the Vyakhyanmala event, we encourage our viewers and members to donate to this worthy cause. The funds raised from this project benefit children from rural areas who are facing educational challenges. So far, we have adopted a total of 38 organizations through Vyakhyanmala
Late Shri Pujyashri Ramanbhai Shah, the visionary President of Shri Mumbai Jain Yuva Sangh, laid the foundation for a legacy of compassion and selfless giving that continues to inspire us today. He emphasized the importance of the Four Dharmas of Jain philosophy, where Dān (charity) stands as the highest virtue. Through his leadership, the Sangh began its journey 29 years ago, hoisting the flag of charity to support organizations that were once unknown to the larger world. This initiative has led to the donation of over Rs 7 crores, benefiting 38 institutions across Gujarat, particularly in the underdeveloped regions. These funds have empowered healthcare, education, and social welfare, touching the lives of many who would have otherwise remained forgotten. The spirit of giving, ignited by Shri Ramanbhai Shah, has left an indelible mark on countless communities. As we continue this noble work, we remain deeply grateful for the vision that sparked this movement, which is still growing stronger every day.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the generous donors who have supported this cause over the years. It is through your contributions that we have been able to make a meaningful impact on so many lives, proving that collective generosity can indeed bring about positive change. Your selflessness has enabled us to fulfill our mission, and your compassion is what fuels the continued success of this endeavor. Thanks to your unwavering support, we are able to extend our reach further, ensuring that the flame of charity burns brightly for generations to come. Together, we are creating a legacy that embodies the essence of Dān, Sheel (character), Tap (austerity), and Bhāv (emotion)—principles that guide us to live with integrity, simplicity, and deep empathy for others. We salute the materialistic soul within us, which recognizes the importance of wealth as a means to uplift and empower those in need. With this spirit, we shall carry forward Shri Ramanbhai Shah’s vision, honoring his memory through every act of kindness and generosity.
